Woolworths – Really Natural Organic Dark Chocolate – review – Martin Christy

Strong punch from this organic: an overwhelming taste of too-bitter almonds and strong unsweetened coffee. The taste doesn’t develop, except to turn a little metallic. Length is steady, but not really pleasant. This chocolate has a fairly unique flavour, so is worth experiencing but maybe not repeating.

Not a subtle chocolate, probably good for baking but not one to eat twice. Certainly not ‘silky rich’ as described by Woolworths themselves – whoever wrote that obviously never tasted it! May appeal to some, but not a winner for me.
