Monthly tasting – growing country vodka and rum matching

£30 per person, 7.30pm-9.30pm, Tues 13 Oct 2009
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society,
London Members’ Rooms, 19 Greville Street, London, EC1N 8SQ

Origin rumTo celebrate Chocolate Week we’ve hijacked our usual monthly introduction to fine chocolate tasting and added some extra spice. We’ll be matching some of our favourite fine chocolate with a selection of spirits made in cacao growing countries, including vodka and sugar spirit from Ecuador, and rum from Venezuela and the Whisky Society’s own bottling from Trinidad. NOTE: The exact spirits we use for this additional event may vary.

We’ll still include our usual introduction to fine chocolate and sampling of some of the latest fine and origin chocolate we’ve found, but all with a certain extra little hit.

Join us for this great event where we’ll be celebrating the spirit, as well as the chocolate, that comes from cacao growing countries.

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT, PLEASE SEE OUR ADDITIONAL DATE ON 14 OCTOBER, HERE
