I work for Cotton Tree Lodge in southern Belize. Many Mayan farmers in our area grow organic cacao. We take our guests on farm tours to learn how the fruit is grown and harvested. We also are associated with a small chocolate company called Cotton Tree Chocolate, which makes Fair Trade bars in Punta Gorda, Belize.
