is a great resource, as are the folks here. there are many good links on the internet as well as books that give you truffle recipies, but my suggestion would be to use them as guidelines and find your own path. play, play, and then play some more with different chocolates and flavors. as far as assistance with the business plan end of t hings, i believe there's an ecole du chocolate run out of canada (the name escapes me), that covers business as well as technical material. if memory serves, it can be taken as a correspondence course as well..

the technical aspects really aren't that complicated. there are a few points to master, but all in all, it's really not that difficult.

Ok I'm a 30 something housewife, interested in possibly starting a VERY small chocolate making business ( as in truffles etc not the actual chocolate!! )

I am at a total loss where and how to start, so any ideas on books that I can buy etc.
I am an ex chef, seems ages ago that I studied but I do have some background but reading all the information you put in the forums it seems every so slightly mindblowinly complicated!!!!
So any ideas to start me off would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!
