Hello,
It's been a while since I've chimmed in on this forum, but I see that you are looking for custom molds and I have been down this road before. I have 3 companies I can give you with prices far below the 10k you've gotten. However 2 are in the US and one is in Canada. Good luck, let me know if this helps!

Thanks guys! I've considered the transfer sheet idea, but now that Target uses them on "Choxie" I think they've lost their magic.

I've seen customised moulds offered at:

http://www.vantagehouse.com/moulddesign.php

I've never seen/used them so I can't vouch for the process but it may be worth investigating. Alternatively, depending on what you're moulding, you could also get customised transfer sheets to put your logo on???

Hi Malena!

I haven't run into anything reasonable yet. The lowest custom polycarbonate prep costs I've encountered are in the $10k range. (Although there may be someone else on the forum with a better lead!)

I imagine the scale you need would make this impractical, but I've played with making my own just for fun. There's an interesting post on it here:

Hello fellow chocolate lovers! I'm atwitter with delight at the thought of so many chocolate minds meeting. (I'm new to this forum so forgive my enthusiasm)

My question is, does anyone know a source for reasonably priced custom polycarbonate moulds? I want to put my logo on a bar.

P.S. Has anyone noticed the new Maya, Aztec & Cacao-pod themed moulds on the scene? Talk about trendy!

Cheers,
Malena
