I'm fairly sure that those are different chocolates. I have eaten quite a lot of the Tesco bar of late - but it tastes very different. The Tesco bar is very moist, strong cocoa flavour. The Montezuma was much more waxy and floral.

I read somewhere else that it might be Belcolade, but they don't seem to have a 70% Peru product on their website.

I do not know who supply Montezuma but I was struck that Tesco also have an organic 70% peruvian chocolate bar and wondered if the supplier was the same for both. I was interested in Montezma's dark milk a while back and was told that Belcolade supply some of their organic milk chocolate but I have no idea if this is still the case. A lot of organic milk couverture only comes in pretty big packs like 20kg so you have to be sure you want to try first!

I was wondering if anyone knew anymore about this organic single origin bar?

When I opened it, the chocolate looked very matt and consequently had quite low expectations. I had a pleasant surprise. Although a little waxy and slow to melt, the chocolate has a good intensity and balance. Floral and fruity, with a hint of banana.

This reminds me a little of Mora Mora chocolate by Malagasy.

I'd like to know where they source it from ideally?
