I would advise looking to local catering schools and large restaurants. In my experience it's best to look for patisserie trained chefs they will often have worked with chocolate, don't mention chocolate in an outside advert or you'll get every chocoholic in a hundred miles sniffing at your door convinced they can bluff their way in. Try Catering and Hotel keeper classifieds. Or consider what I resorted to and train-up. It depends what you have more of.. time or money?!

Hello,

I really need to gather some costs together and have realised I have no idea at all of the salary a Chocolatier may expect. I'm needing one with excellent skills, a real leader who can take responsibility.

Could anyone help me? I'd really appreciate someone letting me know. Happy to receive emails if it isn't right to discuss on a public forum.

This may be a silly question...but where do chocolatiers look for jobs? Catering magazines?

Thanks in advance
