We did this on Sunday for our trial run of truffle eggs for Easter.

Just melt some cocoa butter and add some powdered food coloring. Let is set for a few minutes to fully hydrate the food color, else you will get little dark specks.

I will post a few pictures of our product when I get home.

I use polycarbonate molds and like to make filled chocolates for friends. I would like to get more artistic and paint the molds before I pour in my coating layer so the tops look cool.

I use only couveture chocolate so:
1. Where can I buy a high quality 'paint' (food color?) for chocolate?

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated
