Hi I am new to this forum.

Does anyone know why you never hear of chocolate shops in the North East? There are some really good places, but all you hear about in the media is shops in the south. My husband owns a chocolate patisserie and we have really struggled to get publicity in any media.

Where in the north east (presumably UK?) are you and what media are you trying to get publicity in?

Newspapers do not do articles on chocolate shops unless there is some story there of interest to their readers. Where have you been reading articles re choc shops in south? Tend to be more articles on manufacturers which are a bit thin on the ground in the NE. But it is always easy to come up with a news slant.

My background is the media but now in choc so might be able to give you a little free advice if I have more to go on what you are after.
