Hi all, can anyone give me a good source of block chocolate (Plain and White) over the net (prefer a source in the UK) where I can buy either wholesale or larger amounts (bulk sale) to reasonable prices as the shop here seems to have closed for good. I also need a supplier for cream and condensed milk (again bulk sale in the UK). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I buy online from http://www.keylink.org and also use HB ingredients who list their products online but you need to contact them directly to order. The Vantage House website has the same ingredients available as HB.

Hi Vinni, to buy anything in the UK for chocolate making is expensive. Keylink are quite reasonable as are HB Ingredients. I was thinking of getting my moulds from Mumbai as they are so much cheaper, so I would stick with what you know.
Good Luck

Hi Vinni, no unfortunately I don’t come from Mumbai, the company in Mumbai that I was looking at is called ‘Galaxy’. That is the only one I could find that makes polycarbonate moulds, the others just had ‘hobby’ moulds, is there anywhere else that you know of?
Good Luck

Hey Aphrodite…
Sorry for replying after all these months… yes thats the only one in mumbai i can find as well… the website is http://www.ipfco.com
Another place where you can buy moulds and other chocolatey stuff is this shop called “Arife”. They have 3 branches in Mumbai – the best one is the Bandra one (linking road, opp shoppers stop), the crawford market is also good… the andheri west is hopeless but u cud have a look if you’re that side of town… send me a mail at vinnischocolate@gmail.com if you need any more info.
Cheers..
