I was hoping that El Rey's 61% Mijao would follow the same trend that the two stronger bars set; that lower percentages would be quite strong because of less cocoa butter. I knew that this wouldn't happen again, but I still tried it out. To be honest I didn't give it a good tasting because it is way too sweet for me, but it did seem like a sweetened version of Gran Saman. Quite dry and gritty with similar flavor notes. I only tried it once and the sweetness made me sick, so I gave it to my mother. I won't try anything lower than the Gran Saman. I should have known since I generally don't like chocolate too far under 70%. Sorry for the lowsy review. Just a heads up to people who like/dislike sweet chocolate.

I bought Hachez's 77% because the ingredients are listed as cocoa liquer, cocoa butter, sugar, and vanilla. I found it strange because the butter is above sugar and they used no emulsifier. This is a very smooth, creamy chocolate. Nice proportion of bitterness and cocoa-sweetness, but it has a STRONG alcohol taste. I can't tell if I don't like it, or if it's so different that it shocked my taste buds. I'll give it a few more tries. Is anybody else familiar with Hachez?
