I tried green & blacks 70% yesterday which I hadnt eaten since moving up along the chocolate ladder. I was shocked to find that it tasted of drains and burnt coffee – a truly remarkable flavour! anyone concur

Is this a good thing? I assume by your previous statement that it is not. What exactly is a “drain,” btw? [:)]

sorry i dont have a sarcasm button on my keyboard. yes it is a bad thing. drains are where all the dirty water goes. ‘down the drain’. The problem with this chocolate is that its become ubiquitous in British supermarkets I just wish there was something really good i could purchase conveniently.

Splodge, I’ve had no success at all in English supermarkets. Suggest you try local delis or specialist food shops. Let us know where you are, and I’m sure the forum will be able to give you a few suggestions.

Of course, you could always try mail order, such as the seventypercent online shop!
