As of late I have had limited access to good chocolate (it seems that a friend is helping me to solve this problem... thanks peter!). However, when my pocketbook allows it, I prefer to shop at organic co-ops. So, I recently bought Dagoba's 'New Moon' (74%), and, just for the heck of it, Terra Nostra's 73%.
Both are organic. Dagoba comes from the US, while Terra Nostra comes from Canada. Neither tell where their beans come from, but both are decent.
So, which was better? The Terra Nostra. It had better melt, aroma, snap and complexity. The Dagoba was just flat and dull in comparison, and perhaps a little dry.
Has anyone else tried these?
