I was at the grocery store today, preparing to decide between Lindt and Ghirardelli, when I saw a display of Valrhona bars.

They were 100 gram flavored bars which I had not seen before. I picked up a a few bars of Guanaja with nibs and one bar of Manjari Orange.

I am quite pleased to see these Valhrona bars at the grocery. The packaging is also refreshing: a 100 gram bar wrapped in paper and foil. I still think of 100 grams as the standard even though most fine chocolate bars today are smaller.
