might want to evaluate something like akismet.com to control the spam – i’m sure there are others, this one has worked well for me in the past however…

Problem is caused by old software. Martin told us thisd Sept 30:

Yes indeed Sebastian. I’m working away to move the forum to new software, then we will be able to implement decent anti-spam tools. It’s unfortunately taking a little longer than I hoped, will update you all soon.
