anybody had read it and thought it was a worthwhile read?

I’ve read various comments on it, both good and bad, and it depends on what kind of book you’re looking for. If you want a cookbook, then go for it. If you want a straight memoir-type book, then I recommend Bittersweet: A Journey through Light and Dark by Mort Rosenblum. But if you’re just wanting to expand your chocolate book library, then I don’t see how it wouldn’t be a nice addition. Here are some reviews I generated on amazon:
