Last September I bought several Valrhona chocolates in Charles de Gaulle airport. One box of 18 guanaja squares had suffered quite badly from fat bloom due to bad storage. This was in no way the fault of Valrhona or my storing of the chocolate. Being the last of the chocolates to be opened, you can imagine my disappointment. I returned them by post to Tain l’Hermitage with a letter of explanation and yesterday, to my great pleasure, they sent me a very nice letter, a 57 square box of guanaja and 5 75g bars ( all in their fine new livery aswell! ).
