I have just had a newsletter from my (fabulous and very helpful)supplier detailing new additions etc, amongst them, milk chocolate from Carma (part of Callebaut I think).
They state that they now stock “most highly acclaimed Swiss Claire from Carma, recently voted ‘World’s Best Milk Chocolate’”
Has anyone tried this? Is it any good? I have to say I’m a bit sceptical despite the seeming lack of any outstanding milk chocolates in general…who voted it “best” and what were the benchmarks against which it was tested?

L’Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani is an exclusively Callebaut-sponsored (and I suspect Callebaut-founded) organization. How surprising they select a Callebaut product as the world’s best…Rather go for a bit more independent selections…With this I would not say Carma milk chocolate is not good.
