OfflineFrom someone who has a chocolate shop and produces the chocolates
Our dreams: a shop where you can somehow vitually visit plantations, pick your pods, think of any center you would like with these beans and….there it is!Endless possibilities of couvertures and centers available at the clic of a finger…
In terms of funny customers… a true one. Sometimes in the summer we put fake chocolates in the window display because of heat/risk of melting. They are made of plastic but look real. One day, a customer walked in and despite a 30cm glass protection between the display and the public, pinched one of these and proceeded to eat it. After eating about half, she asked me seriously what the flavour was… and I had to reply PLASTIC!She then spent 5 more min in the shop walking around spitting bits of plastic in her hands…
I know sometimes people on this forum complain about chocolate shops but think about us on the other side….
I have enough of these real examples to write a book!

Yes, I remember that the arrogant staff looked down at me. I’m just 1,64 tall, but it was not in the literally sense….[;)]

OfflineChocolatero, I am among those (if not the only one!) who complain about shops now and then, and I can assure you that the service in your shop was excellent even if you obviously wasn’t there when I visited
I still have a couple of suggestions for improvement – not on service or on staff skills, but on products – but as I said, they are _improvements_ only.
I wouldn’t mind making a shop rating, btw, but I realise it is probably difficult since service is a social thing, it is basically a meeting between strangers. On the other hand, too odd comments from staff can turn me off and prevent me from buying anything.

OfflineFirst suggestion:
Your drinking chocolate is a bit too thick, I think. It is nice, even if it’s quite like drinking sauce
I’ll make a new topic on this under Recipes, ok?
As for the topic, in my dream chocolate shop I would serve several different drinking chocolate – hot, cold, milkshakes – some even mixed with coffee.
