I am seeking importers / distributors / retailers of chocolate nib products in the UK and the rest of the EU. Does anyone know where I can buy these / who supplies them?

I get my cacao nibs from Bos Food (www.bosfood.de). These ones are from Valrhona. I’m very happy with these nibs, but I must say, that I haven’t tastet nibs from other manufacters. And I just do not know wether they ship to UK or not. I’m sorry but I do not know any retailers in UK.

the only “enjoyable” ground cocoa nibs ive eaten are valrhona venezuelan beans.
thya come in large gold foil hermetic bags, for the trade and we get them in france.
labelled as such:

Montegrano, what are some good sources in the USA?

I’m looking for raw nibs or whole beans, organic criollo only. The previous poster’s stuff is a possibility, but I would like other options as well.

Sure thing, let me search for the links and info first. Are you interested in massive amounts for a business, or smaller quantities for snacking?

Dagoba’s nibs are organic Arriba – really tasty, like tangerines. I think you can order these wholesale from their web-site.

Plantations is fair trade and organic: http://www.echocolates.com Again, the nibs are Arriba but flavor cacao nonetheless.

Try http://www.chocolatealchemy.com and see what they have. Last time I remember, they had the following beans: Ghana, Ocumare, Carenero Superior, and maybe some others. Not sure whether they’re organic either.

I have some information about several cooperatives in Tobasco, Mexico that grow organic and some Criollo cacao. It’s fair trade too. I’ll have to find it when I return to my computer and get it to you if you’re interested.
