A couple of months ago, one of our regular transatlantic customers paid for a large order of our dark chocolate coated candied gingers. I am proud to say that they are now traveling with her in space. Apparently food tastes less in zero gravity so the intense ginger and chocolate combination seem to be a favourite with her and the rest of the crew. How cool is that?

Cool? That’s amazing and I thought astronauts would have eaten Mars bars. Julie Payette is your customer, I presume.I read somewhere that payload costs for the Space shuttle work out at about US$20,000/pound. If that’s correct they are very expensive chocolates!!!
Congratulations.

Thanks. i am always amazed that people who love chocolate are found everywhere regardless of genger, socio economics, profession from Donald Trump to Matt Lucas to James Patterson to the singer of Depeche mode or to an astronaute. It’s pretty awesome.

Yeah, that’s pretty neat. Maybe you should make her a special batch of high flavour chocolates for the next trip (you could add a few extra drops of mint oil maybe)
