Cao Grande is the new AB and ECOCERT certified organic chocolate from Valrhona. Cao Grande Noir 70% dark chocolate and Cao Grande lait 39% milkchocolate. It’s available as 100g bars for consumers and 3kg blocks. Packaging is made of recyclable paper. Printing ink is made of organic plant based paint. The Swedish Valrhona distributor has a picture of the two bars. No specific date when they are available on the market this autumn.

I got them right here [:D] The 70%, from what I remember, is strong and a bit rough, but I need to re-taste it some more. The milk is very milky, but again, I need to re-taste it as well.

Should have them in the UK in October. L’artisan are making bars from the couverture, which we have here and should put in the shop soon.

Where did you get the term “Cao Grande?” They’re packaged as “Nature et Chocolat” over here.

From a webpage at the Swedish Valrhona distributor (see above). Look at the picture.

Oh! I must have missed that! Well, that’s interesting. The packaging is different than what I have. The script is the same, but it says “Nature & Chocolat” with a slightly different color scheme as well.
