I have ordered from seventypercent.com as well as Chocosphere, but I could only get Marcolini thru 70%. Now it appears it is no longer available here either. Ugh. I SO wanted to get another of their 85% bars too. Any other source for it?

You can order it directly through Marcolini, depending on what city you’re located in. Are you in the US? If so, you can order through the NY location. In the US, you’ll never find Marcolini in retail sales, so you have to order direct.

Unfortunately we were unable to maintain a fruitful relationship with Pierre Marcolini. With wholesale prices in the UK above the retail price for which the bars can be purchased in Brussels, and issues with a relatively short shelf life when compared to the main chocolate makers we were no longer able to justify the wastage we were having to deal with, especially as a high priced item.

This is a shame, because while not all the Marcolini bars were top flight, and some doubts remain over how much of the chocolate Marcolini actually makes, I’ll miss Fleur de Cacao – a great bar we never had any problems with. Unfortunately sales of this bar just couldn’t support maintaining a stock of the rest of the range. I hope some time in the future we will see them back
