Could not find any info on where to buy El Rey in Europe when i searched, so here it goes. Does anyone know of this. Or is the alternative to mailorder from USA? And when I am at it, has anyone tried Bernachon and know of where to get it?

Wait about 4 days and you will see it here! We had half an order arrive last week and should get the rest next. Just finding the time to get it in the shop, but as you might see we’ve put a new ‘minimalist’ listing in the shop to get stuff up quicker. We’ll have all the bars.

I want them all ………………… just trouble finding the time to get in touch, source supplies etc. If anyone wants to chase some of the missing companies (e.g. an email ‘why can’t I buy you on Seventypercent.com?’) then feel free. This applies to US companies, French, Italian … etc.

Just for you, El Rey is in the shop now. Pictures and full descriptions to come. There’s a wholesaler bringing them into the UK now, so to be fair I should point out Chocolate Trading have them as well. Look out next week for Scharffen Berger to be added, and also some Marcolini bars and most of L’artisan’s bars – we’ve had both these for a while just for our club and tastings, etc., but will get them in the shop soon. Plus more I’m not telling you about yet!

It’s kind of surprising that El Rey isn’t available in Europe, especially since they’re not a US brand. There are distributors, however, that supply El Rey, Guittard, Scharffen Berger, and many more if you’re interested. Try http://www.petersimports.com or http://www.wythewill.com These two would especially be of interest to Martin because they supply for retail stores across America, but maybe they work overseas as well. I’m not sure about that, though, so I recommend that you contact them first.
I wish I could get Marcolini here, but he doesn’t even distribute in the US. I know I’m missing out on a lot.

having tried two of el rey’s bars i wish they were more available here in munich. since i am the only one in the forum from munich i don’t imagine anyone can tell me where i might find some here?
