Does anyone know where I can buy fresh cocoa pods (that is the whole thing – not just beans)in UK?
Some have suggested Carribean stalls at Shepherd’s Bush Market….any ideas? Anyone know of an importer?
I need to track some down as I am writing a book of chocolate recipes and need to show the pods as a photograph in the book.
Thanks in anticipation.

I’ve got them before now from the Chocolate Society. Ask at one of their shops or call the number on their website, http://www.chocolate.co.uk . They will most likely be forastero from Africa, so not the best.

Thank you very, very much Martin – will try that tomorrow! Am in touch with Rungis market direct, so fingers crossed for that too!
Happy New year!
