So it can be done? Sweet!
My heartfelt congratulations to the people at http://www.theochocolate.com/ for putting their money where their mouths are.

Their website says:
“We are proud to be the first roaster of Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa beans and the only roaster of organic cocoa beans in the United States.”
I just have to point out that this is clearly not true…Just to give one example, Dagoba’s been doing both for years now.

I thought Dagoba had someone else roast the beans for them.

I’ll email Fred to confirm, but I’m 99% sure they do their own roasting…
Didn’t mean my post above to seem dismissive–it’s always good to hear of a new organic and/or fair trade roaster! (It’s just also nice when copy is correct :-)
