I live in French Guiana where I start to produce an original cocoa, because coming from downward cacao-trees, clones or first generation of spontaneous cacao-trees of the south of the French Guiana.

The differentiation as of the these cacao-trees comes from quaternary era or a succession of glaciation and reheating of the climate was translated by an alternation of period of dryness and periods wet.

For the periods of dryness, the tropical forest was withdrawn until not to form but forest small islands more thus supporting the differentiation of populations and the disappearance of some others.

During wet phases, the forests extended again starting from these refuges.

One of these zones was identified inter alia in the south of the French Guiana.

The plantations in progress are installed into full drill Amazonian and led in order to reproduce with more close the natural conditions
I am at your disposal for more information.

Wow, a member who is a grower instead of a humble consumer! I don't know where to start. How big is your operation, Delecroix, and who do you sell the cocoa to?

Your post is very interesting. Please tell us more! How many distinct genetic varieties of cacao are known? How many are successfully cultivated?
I have sent you an email in addition to this.
