I just randomly grabbed a couple of the Le Noir Amer Valrhona bars from Trader Joe’s of all places. I think the bars were about $2.50 each, and well worth the find. You never know what you can find there. If you have a Trader Joe’s around your pad, grab as many as you can because they’re on sale and it is an incredible chocolate!

Is this the 71%? I wasn’t so thrilled with it. There’s a review for that on the site, btw. If Trader Joe’s has the 85% as well, then avoid it at all costs. Again, a review is provided.

Trader Joe’s also sells some Chocovic bars, which I think might be re-packaged. I’m not sure, since I’ve never set foot inside one of these stores. But next time you’re there, it might be worthwhile for you to pick some of those up as well.

They are not repackaged. They are in the original ChocoVic packaging. They have both Ocumare and Arriba and I think a trinitario but I’m positive on that one. When I was in Santa Fe over Christmas I loaded up since they were a good price and I wanted some spare chocolate to use for making hot chocolate drinks.
