Can anyone help? I have great difficulty piping detail into the clear plastic novelty moulds. I can’t see what Im doing as they are clear. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Ive tried different coloured backgrounds behind them but that doesn’t really help.

Why not mould the item first, then apply detail after, either by piping or painting with coloured cocoa butter. If you’re having trouble seeing the detail in the mould you could try back-lighting it (support with a frame / ring and shine a lamp through from the other side)as you will cast a shadow if you work with overhead light.
good luck.
